The impact of inflation on the financial sector development: Empirical evidence from Jordan

In any economy, the financial sector plays a fundamentally important role in achieving economic growth and thus sustainable development. Accordingly, study aims to analyze short- long-run impacts inflation on development Jordanian economy period from 1993 2018. To do so, uses an auto-regressive distributed lag bound testing approach, which advanced analytical model. Empirical findings confirmed that there statistically significant long- short-run negative effect On contrary, statistical positive impact performance. addition, results support previous policies current period.
